Nanyang Polytechnic boasts a team of qualified teaching staffs that possess abundant working experiences. A team of experienced teaching staffs are assembled through careful selection as well as recruiting the right talent into the team. The lecturers are able to supplement their teachings with their working experiences, providing students with out-of-textbook knowledge to promote better understanding & enable lessons to become more interesting & meaningful. And not forgetting to mention that in fact NYP staffs are mostly friendly & approachable too, where they will be willing to extend a helping hand when you need it.


This is Mr Phan Ching Chong, the director for Diploma in Marketing as well as lecturer for the module "Entrepreneurship". This module presents a big challenge for any lecturer due to the nature of the subject, which has to constantly motivate the students to think out of the box. Apart from that, he also has to assume the role as a beacon of inspiration for students to base their innovative business ideas from. Nevertheless, Mr Phan manages to fit the role well due to his rich experiences in the field of business. Hence, he is constantly brimming with business ideas that he will share with students as well as giving sound advice to their business plan.



This is Mr. Michael Cheong. He is the tutor for a module called "Personal Selling & Negotiations skills". He is a very dedicated and passionate tutor whom always source for interesting ads or videos that spur our mind to think beyond the lesson. He will always start his lesson by firstly conducting some mind games with the students such as guessing the brand by looking at the tag line or picture. His creative & interesting lesson is something that all students look forward to.


This is Mr Denis Ang, he is the lecturer for the third year module called "Service Marketing Management". As the name suggests, this module is about the essentials of service delivery process. Although this subject is practically text-heavy and filled with hard to understand terms, Mr Denis always seem to be able to deliver the lesson in an easy to understand manner by quoting real-life examples to supplement the information from
textbook. This results in interesting and meaningful lessons where the essence of service delivery process can be fully demonstrated.
